G'day mates! I'm just bloke from Down Under trying to wrap my head around the American college experience. Currently studying film at Savannah College of Art and Design, drawn here by Georgia's booming film industry. Honestly, it's like Hollywood East, isn't it? Basically, Recently, while road-tripping through this peach of state, passed by South Georgia State College. Got me thinking about the different kind of experiences other students might have there. It seems like more compact campus than SCAD's sprawl, but what are some unique advantages or challenges you've come across? For instance, is it easier to build close-knit communities? Or does its size mean less opportunities for specific programs? Has anyone gone from the Georgia campus to work in the film industry? And speaking of SCAD alumni if any of you are lurking here, how did your time there help shape your career? Did it kick open doors for you in the movie biz? Can't wait to hear about your experiences. Thanks for helping an Aussie navigate these Georgian waters!
