Hey there, fellow Dawgs! This is Sarah, senior at UGA majoring in Sports Medicine. Born and bred right here in Athens, so you bet bleed red and black! So During my time at Georgia Southern University (Shout out to all the Eagles out there! Had my first taste of this balancing act. Those engineering courses didn't play around; talk about getting thrown into the deep end! Looking back though, it was one heck of ride that taught me loads about grit and perseverance. Now as I'm staring down the barrel of grad school, find myself wondering about strategies to handle this whole work-study circus. Any ideas on how to keep from dropping any balls? Or even better any tips on how to not set myself on fire while juggling said balls? Oh, and just for fun anyone else from GSU Engineering lurking around here? Let's swap war stories! Or maybe share some survival strategies. Either would be great right now. So tell me, what's your secret sauce for handling work and grad school?
