Master's Thesis at Emory University: Any Tips or Advice?

Hey everyone! So, I’m Philip you might know me from some of my raucous resident advisor tales over at Kennesaw State. Yup, the one with all the advice on juggling roomies, textbooks, and those infamous am classes. Anyway, been thinking about switching gears and applying for master's program at Emory University. But So, Emory veterans, how did you choose your thesis topic without having meltdown? Did you find mentor or wing it solo? What pitfalls should dodge on this new journey? Would appreciate any advice!
