Hey there, fellow Georgia learners and mentors! I've been helping young minds navigate through their college choices as student counselor at Columbus State University, so thought why not extend helping hand here too. Right now, I'm keen to delve into the real-life experiences of those who chose Nursing as their major at the University of West Georgia.
It's one of those professions that's calling more than just career choice. It takes special kind of person to walk this path, doesn't it? But before jumping in head-first, it's always best to weigh the pros and cons of the program you're considering. And what better way to do that than hearing straight from the horse's mouth! That's where y'all come in. What are some real pluses about nursing at WG? Is the faculty supportive? Are there opportunities for practical learning experiences?
How about career guidance once you're ready to take on the world? And hey, don't hold back on sharing any challenges you faced. Was the course work excessively demanding or rigorous? Were there enough resources available? Did you feel prepared when stepping into the professional field? Just few months back, had this incredibly determined student who wanted to apply for Georgia State University’s psychology program but was hesitant due to some unfavorable reviews online.
After getting her in touch with past graduates who shared honest accounts of their journey there, she gained confidence and decided to go for it!
