What's the difference between UNG campuses?

UNG has several campuses. A student review said: “Dahlonega is the main campus. Beautiful, historic, feels like college. Gainesville is more commuter. Oconee and Cumming are smaller.” Another said: “If you want the traditional college experience, go to Dahlonega. If you're working or commuting, choose a satellite.”

I'm trying to decide. I want a community, but I also need to work part-time. For current students, what's the vibe at each campus? Is Dahlonega worth the extra cost? How easy is it to find off-campus jobs near the satellite campuses?

I've taken classes at Dahlonega and Oconee. The difference is night and day.

Dahlonega: campus feels alive. People hanging out on the quad, events every week, dorm life, football games. You'll make friends easily if you put yourself out there.

Oconee: it's a few buildings off the highway. Classes are fine, professors are good, but there's no "campus" to speak of. You go to class and leave. Great if you're working or commuting. Awful if you want the traditional experience.
